Bec, I just want to thank you from the bottom of our heart for such a beautiful experience. You truly have a gift, not just for capturing stunning images, but for seeing the soul of the moment of us in front of your lens. I was honestly blown away by your eye, your aesthetic taste, and the way you made everything feel so effortless and special.

From the very beginning, your warmth and presence put us at ease. You were so kind, so understanding, and always tuned in to how we were feeling. Even your tone of voice and the calm energy you brought made everything feel magical. You made us feel seen, heard, and completely comfortable and that’s something I’ll never forget and I loved about that day.

Romesh felt so comfortable [...]  I’ve honestly never seen him enjoy a moment like that in front of a camera. And Radha… thank you for being so patient with her. We noticed it, and we appreciated it deeply.

It wasn’t just a photoshoot… it was an experience full of emotion and connection between the 3 of us. We truly enjoyed every single moment, all the goosebumps and I’m so grateful it was with you.

Coming into the shoot, I was a mix of excited and a little nervous - pregnancy is such a tender, personal time, and I wasn’t quite sure how I’d feel being in front of the camera. But from the moment we arrived, Bec created such a calm, positive atmosphere that both Jay and I felt instantly at ease. Everything about the experience - from the pacing of the shoot to the clear and thoughtful communication - made it feel so natural and enjoyable.

The photo shoot was a great way to capture the beginning of this new chapter of our little family's journey together. Bec was able to really celebrate us and who we are in her shoot and her visual storytelling. One of the best highlights? Our furry fam, Milo (3yo cavoodle) and Simba (tabby kitten), stealing the show! Trying to wrangle a shy cat and an excitable dog into family portraits was equal parts chaos and comedy - but Bec handled it like a absolute pro. The outcome was some of the cutest and most hilarious moments captured on camera.

Bec, the way you command a shoot is most noteworthy. I believe that you offer not only your skillset but your humanity when photographing your subjects. You are able to weave both the personal and professional in your images. You know how to world-build and offer an insight into what lies beneath the surface of the images. Capturing small details and nuances other photographers might overlook.

It is a great archiving of what our family has evolved into. The images capture the trials and tribulations of our family in a way that presents us as joyful and resilient. I am able to be proud of what we have achieved as a family unit, based on how Bec has captured my mother, my siblings and I. Nothing feels staged or performative but just capturing who we really are on a day to day basis.

GENESIS

To be honest, I don't think I've ever taken professional photos with my family or with my mother alone. So I felt very much inclined to take this opportunity to have this photoshoot done because I understand it'll be a lot to everyone for many years to come. I was hesitant in the beginning but I'm just so grateful Bec encouraged us to do a photoshoot together with my mum.

Bec was so accommodating to our timelines. We all had various reasons of having to postpone our photoshoot and Bec was so patient and understanding throughout the process. She was regularly checking in to see what we had in mind for the photoshoot and gave us the space to provide our ideas and the direction we wanted for the shoot. [It] felt like everything was so tailored to us. Nothing felt forced and Bec was incredibly patient and understanding every step of the way! It was such a collaborative process as a whole. My mother especially loved it! 

[The] images really captured my openness and being excited for this shoot. I really left all my doubts and insecurities aside and just enjoyed the moment. It really means a lot and I can see how grateful my mum is about for the opportunity.
